When making a purchase from David East Jewellers online store it is important to make your purchase and your decision carefully as cancelling and refunding is not always possible. Below are examples of cancelling an order and the outcomes that may arise. Each request will be dealt on its own individual level and a conclusion will be made.
When a purchase has already been dispatched or sent out, the order cannot be cancelled.
If an attempt is made to cancel an order and it is denied, you may not use our workmanship guarantee to make a cancellation.
When agreed by all parties that the order is to be cancelled then a 20% cancellation fee for the total sale amount may apply.
If the item is a special order with specific measurements for example, finger size, diamond weights and not our standard stock line then the sale is considered final and cannot under any circumstances be cancelled or returned.
David East Jewellers has the right to not accept any cancellation and continue with delivery of the purchased item however will be dealt accordingly to each individual situation. A store credit or exchange maybe a possibility. It is at David East Jeweller’s discretion only that a cancellation will be accepted or considered.
