David East Jewellers and A.Perelberg & Co reserves the right and change these Terms and Condtions continuously and we therefore suggest and advise you to read them thoroughly and regularly.
At David East Jewellers and A.Perelberg & Co. we are committed to a high level of customer service and 100% customer satisfaction. It is our number one priority to provide our clients with a high level of service and quality products. Whether it is a watch battery replacement or an engagement ring purchase, we believe our customers are important to us and must always have a pleasurable and satisfying shopping experience with us instore and online.
We offer a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in the material and workmanship on all the jewellery products that we sell and will be dealt with accordance to each individual case and item. Watches have their own independent warranties. All of our items must pass a number of quality control checks and examinations before it leaves for delivery to our clients.
The guarantee that David East Jewellers and A.Perelberg & Co. offers will be assessed on an individual basis. Our warranty does not cover damaged items from misuse, standard wear and tear, repairs or alterations made by another jeweller, accidental knocks or blows, exposure to corrosive or abrasive substances or other factors outside of normal expected wear. David East Jewellers and A.Perelberg & Co denies any obligation to take any action in repairing the damaged items under guarantee if the purchased item demonstrates evidently the misuse of the item. A warranty does not cover a refund on the purchased item.
All prices on this site are in Australian dollars including the Australian GST (General Services Tax). Any purchases made through David East Jewellers online store will be charged in Australian Dollars.
We would like to point out that sometimes an item maybe priced incorrectly that appears within our online store due to either human error or products selling simultaneously. In the case of this occurring we do of course make every effort and attempt possible to make sure this error will not happen again.
On the odd occasion that this error may occur with the pricing of a particular product on our website is incorrect, David East Jewellers is not committed to selling the item and will provide you the option to cancel your purchase and obtain a refund.
The prices include GST, a wooden presentation jewellery box or watch box, a complimentary valuation on the markets replacement value that is completed by our in house registered valuer or diamond grader, all relating and relative certificates or warranties, a 12 month manufacturer’s guarantee on all jewellery items.
With any purchase at David East Jewellers and A.Perelberg & Co. we deliver your purchase to you in a working and new condition without fault or damage. In the event that you receive your purchase from us damaged or faulty, you are entitled to return your purchase to us in the condition that you received them however before doing so you must notify us if you have received a damaged product and must be returned within 14 days of the original delivery date. The item will then be assessed, which may result in a credit note, replacement, or repaired however it will be up the discretion of David East Jewellers and A.Perelberg & Co. management.
If you receive the wrong item or an item that does not match the description of what was ordered and you’re not satisfied with the quality, David East Jewellers will accept items for replacement with the correct item, exchange or credit note if returned in saleable condition, with the original sales receipt, all original packaging, correct and corresponding certificates and valuation and must be returned within 14 days of the received date and we must be notified either via email or phone.
If you have simply changed your mind about your purchase, we may at our discretion, accept items for exchange or credit note if returned under the same conditions but there is no guarantee or may result in a restocking fee of up to twenty percent of the purchase price. By Law we do not have to except returns if you have simply changed your mind but we would like to assistant and look after our customers to make sure that they are happy and pleased with their purchase.
Costs and liabilities relating to the return shipping of exchange items are at the risk and expense of the customer sending them. If a customer is returning an item to David East Jewellers and is not received, the responsibility is on the customer to provide appropriate insurance for the item while in transit to us.
Australia Wide Shipping
We offer express shipping and delivery on all of the purchases made online. If the purchased item is in stock we will send it out within 1 or 2 business days and you should receive the package within a 3 - 5 business day period of the intial purchase date. If the purchased item is temporarily out of stock or there maybe a delay in the delivery we will notify you asap via email or phone.
We will only ship or post within Australia, unless pre-approval has been made with one of our staff members.
Before we securely wrap and package all items, we thoroughly examine and check to make sure that the purchased item or item's are as decribed on our webpage and in the condition as stated and sold.
A tracking number will be provided and email to you once the purchased item has been carefully packaged and sent. Items or purchases with a higher value, may require a signature on delivery.
